j INTERESTING DEMONSTRAj TION. j Airs Glennan, one of Australia's foremost exponents of tho art of cookery, gave an interesting demonstration in ; tho Alexandra Hall yesterday on tho ' art of cooking for invalids, this ! heing the first of a series of lectures and demonstrations that will bo given in Christchurch. In her preliminary remarks Mrs Glennen said that diet had a great deal to do with the rapid recovery of a patient, and nowadays the medical man depended a great deal upon a rational ' and reasonable diet, and not so much upon quantities of differout medicines.
