OBITUARY.
REV, DECIMUS DOLAMORE
The Rev. Itecinms Dolamore, who was the first minister of the Baptist Church to visit New Zealand, died at tho age of ninety-two years at his residence, Clare road, St. Albans, on Monday. Deceased came to New Zealand in ISSI, having been educated, for fcho Church in Hertfordshire, and his first charge was in Nelson. Here he taught the Gospelfor thirteen years, and took & prominent part in establishing tho settlement on sound grounds. Lator on, in the middle 'sixties, when ttoe* Baptist Church was first established in this town, he came to Ohristchurcb. He ministered subsequently in Nelson for six years, and in Caversham fior two years, returning eventually to Canterbury to control a Church at Kirwee. .
