NEWCASTLE, July 15,
The Wheelers' and Shiftmen's Executive resigned after an uproarious meeting of the Union. Tho Colliery Employers' Federation intimated that the position of wheelers would ba recognised, and tho threatened trouble may now possibly be averted.

Pour hundred are idle at the Hetton Colliery. The men refuse to work in wot places.
