SENATOR'S ELECTION INVALID

WASHINGTON, July 14. Tho Senato has' declared Senator Lorimer's election invalid in consequence of his votes having been obtained by corrupt methods and practices. Senator Lorimer, it was proved, used extensive bribery, but Congress could not be induced to act, deferring tho question for month after month.
