THE ENGLISH PIERROTS.
At the King's Theatre on next Saturday evening the English Pierrots open a season of six nights in Christchurch. The company has a repertoire characterised by its originality and novelty and consists of humorous songs, duets, and trios, sentimental songs and duets, coon songs, and choruses, musical •mono- | logues, dramatic recitals, racy stories, i concerted items, and instrumental selec- | tions. Th c combination has been, giving entertainments at tho Pavilion, Melbourne, for tho past eight years, and though a strong element of humour pervades their programmes, they aro essentially musical throughout.
