PARISH MEETINGS.
ST. MARY'S, HALSWELL. At the annual meeting <>i the parishioners of St. Mary's, Hulswell, held in the vicarage, there was an average attendance. The vicar .spoke of the slow, but steady, increase in the number of communicants during recent' years, in spite of the many iossee through people leaving the district. Next year they would celebrate their .jubilee, and soon must decide what form the commemoration should take. The wardens' report showed rereipts £122 19s ' 2<] and expenditure £118 lls. 2d. The retiring church officers wore reappointed. the usual votes of thanks passed.
