.Simon Weatherallj-a miner employed in Craig's coal mine at Coal Creek, ■met v.itii a bad accident on Friday. He was brought to tho, lhmetlin Hospital. His spine is injured, aud his condition is serious. At the Kangiora Saleyards on Saturday, while roping an unbroken horse, Edward Chambers, employed by Messrs l'yne. and Co., wa.s kicked by the animal. One arm was broken near the elbow, and the other was broken at tho wrist. Chambers also received severe injuries to ihe chest. Ho was at onco attended and wa.s soon able, to walk about with Ik.s arms in slinks.
