The Secretary of the Roard' write*. Minting that the path in question will '- he re-opened for cycling, upon the express condition that, if the gates i r other property of the Board is interfered with or damaged in any wav, this permission will be withdrawn.I*'1*' 1 trn-i. therefore, that all who uso tin* path, whether cyclists or . pedestrians, will u-e their utmost endeavours to see that acts of wanton destruction and vandalism, of which they mny he witnesses, may he immediately ri'portod. by telephone or letter to the head gardener, so that the offenders may Ik* brought to book -without delay. To cyclists who habitually use.the path in question I appeal especially, for oil them will rust the blame ' for rniy damage that may henceforth he done to the gate*., innocent though they lie.
