MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
(Before Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M.) INSOBRIETY. A female first' offender, found intoxicated on the Chrisfcchyrch railway platform, and another female first offender, found helplessly intoxicated at Amberley, were each fined 10s, in default 48 hours' imprisonment, and were ordered to pay exnenses amounting to 7s 6d and 10s respectively. Two male first offenders, and one nialo statutory first offender, were each fined ss, with the alternative of twenty-four hours in gaol. Another male first offender was remanded, for a week for medical treatment. CHARGE OF INDECENT J3EHAVIOUR. Thomas Watson Earnshaw, an elderly man, was charged with indecently exposing himself in Manchester street on Friday night. Accused said he did not remember committing the offence. Tho Magistrate commented on the serious nature of the offence, and ndjournod the case for a week in order to allow the police to make enquiries regarding accused.
