CANTERBURY v. SOUTH CANTERBURY.
The secretary of ! the Canterbury Cricket Association (Mr F. L. Murray), received tho following telegram from the secretary of the South Canterbury Cricket Association: —"Much regret"; unforeseen circumstances compel us to abandon match." The game was to have taken place at Lancaster Park on Tuesday and Wednesday next, the 19th and 20th inst.
