DARFIELD SALE.

On Friday, at the Darficld sale, tho yarding of sheon and lambs totalled 3450. Tn tho store pens thero wer* 1520 halfbred and crossbred ewes, 1100 merino ewes, and 2CO rape and store lambs. Tho sheep, with two or three exceptions, wero of moderate quality and mostly aged sorts. The fats cousisted of 400 which,with the exception of one small pen. wero all good to prime freezers and a few tegs. .There wore two small pens of fat ewes, tho balance (195) being wethers, all well finished lots. Tho attendance was a moderate ono, but the competition for fats was strong.
