AX IMPORTANT SCHEME
United Press Association—tJy Klectrio Tekgraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, March 16. The Hon. J. Murray, Premier of Victoria, has submitted to M r Fisher and other Premiers a scheme for holding an Empire exhibition at one of the ■capital centres of Australia at an estimated cost of £600,000, the State in which it is held guaranteeing £250,000, and the Federal Government £100,000, tho balance to bo distributed amongst tho other States on a population basis.
