SUSPICION FALLS ON TURKEY. United Press Association—By Eiectrio Telegraph—Copyright. ROME. March jo. Rumour casts suspicion in connection with tho attempted assassination of King Emanucl on Turkey, inasmuch as tho Turkish newspapers lately havo declared that the war has entailed attempts on th© lives of King Emanuel, Signor Giolitti, the Premier, and the Marquis San di Giuliano, Minister for Foreign Affairs. Tho rumour has been popularly credited. It is expected that it will force the Italian Government to a more vigorous action against Turkey, and stiffen its attitude as regards mediation. Dalba, the would-be assassin, was armed with a Browning pistol. He suffered from meningitis when young. Ho has been twice convicted for theft, and once for assaulting his parents. "ROME, March 16. Dalba has collapsed, and refuses food. Ho is terror-stricken at tho prospect of a life of solitary confinement. Major Lang, who was injured by a shot from Dalba's revolver, is progressing satisfactorily-
