Eden beat Grafton on the first innings, scoring 201 (J. Mills 69, Smeeton 67) to Grafton's total of 183. In a second effort Grafton made 95 for two wickets (Sloman 41 not out). Parnell beat Ponsonby by seven wickets —a threepoint win. Ponsonby made 125 and 50 (Robinson 30 not out), and Paruell scored 136 (Wright 63) and 42 for threo wickets (Wright 25 not out). Oliff took six Ponsonby wickets for 25 runs.
