WELLINGTON, February 26,
Another meeting was. held this'afternoon of the Committeo constituted to report upon tho questions of privilege arising out of tho allegations that money was offered to the member for Grey Lynn (Mr J. Payne) to persuade him to break his election pledges. The Chairman (Mr J. A. Hanan) stated this evening that tho Committeo had decided that counsel should be allowed to conduct tho cases of the various parties during the enquiry, s and that the Committee also decided that representatives of the Press should bo admitted during the taking of evidence, but not whil© the Committee was deliberating. Tho first sitting of the Committeo to hear evidenco will be held at 10.30 to-morrow morning.
