NOTES AND MEMORANDA
An election by th© members of School Committees to fill the casual vacancy on tho Board of Governors of Canterbury College caused by th© resignation of Mr T. W. Rowe, will be held on March 18th.
To-morrow, at evensong (5.15 p.m ), at the Christchurch Cathedral, the Archdeacon of Timaru and Westland will be instituted, and Canon Sedgwick will be installed.
Ten per cent, will bo added to Heathcote county rates unpaid after the 29th inst.
Th© annual meeting of the old Lyttelton Navals' Association will be held at 7.30 p.m. on Friday next, fn the Orderly Room, Drillshed.
