SATURDAY'S MARKETS.
Horses. —At Tattereall's horse, bazaar on Saturday there was an entry of 55 horses. Prices -were: —lrtaughts up to £25, harness horses £13 to £15, hacks £4 to £8. . ■ Poultry-—There ■was an exceptionally large entry, owing to the close approach of Christmas. The price for ducklings created quite a sensation,. 8s 10d per pair being reached. Ducks made 3s to 6s 6d; table chickens, which were very scarce, realised 8s 4d; hens (in large supply) 2s to 33 6d ; roosters 4s Id to 7s 7d: pullets 4s to & 6d; goslings (keen demand) 7 S to 10s 3d, all at por pair. Pigs.—There was a, good entry, and a brisk sale. Prices were:—Suckers and weaners 11s 3d to 15s 6d, stores 225/ light porkers up to 31s, baconcrs up to 5Gs.
