PRESBYTERIAN GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
(mESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DUNEDIX, November 17. The Assembly, very much thinned, entered upon its final day. It was resolved that the superintendent of home mission work this j?ear should be under the direction of the Northern Church Extension Committee only. The Assembly approved of t-he report of the Sabbath Observance Committee, furnishing a basis for the Lord's Day Alliance to guard against attacks on the sanctity of the Sabbath. The Assembly unanimously adopted a motion in condemnation of Jformonism. Mr J. W. Jack (Wellington) was appointed auditor. It was decided to hold the next meetinc of the Assembly in Wellington on November 12th, 1912. It was decided that payment of expenses should not be mode to any voting member who did not attend to the end of the meetings unless he left by special permission of the Assembly.
