A very guoceseful road race was held on Saturday under the auspices of the Darfield .Bicycle Club, the distance being eighteen miles. Twenty-nino riders faced the starter (Mr M. Dunn), and aitor an exciting finish the raco was won by L. O. Thomos by six inches from W. J. vVelsh. G. W. Thomas was third The fee tost time was made by £>. Thomas, 35} mm.
