CHEVIOT.
The annnal general meeting of the Cheviot Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held on Saturday, Mr D. Archibald, president, in tho chair. The balance-jheet showed receipts £511, expenditure £427, 16s 4d, leaving a cash balance of £83 3s Bd, with outstanding subscriptions of £6 16s. The elation of officers resulted as follows: —Patrons, Sir C. Campbell, Sir Geo. Clifford, Mr G. W. Forbes, M.P., and Mr W. McFarlane; president. Mr R. BlackIcy ; vice-presidents, Messrs J. Fleming, A. McQuee, and T. C. Robinson; committee, Messrs A. E. T>enton, C. Barnes. A. Harrison, T. Kelly Heard, J no. Mowat, J. Hocan, E. Jackman, Jns. Paton. T. Wilkinson, junr.. S. Pet+encMl, T>. Johnston, R. C. "Wilson, E. Smith, T. Stevenson, H. Taylor, L. E. W. Payne. R. Tj. Paton, J. Hiatt, B. MnrtftK A. E. Fyans, P. T>alt<in. and R. CMsholm; auditor, Mr W. E. Cottrell. At a meeting of the committee of the Association a bonus of f">o was voted to the secretary, Mr T. Gee.
