Tho exports of wheat for this season made up to date give a total of 924,009 bushels, and if, as 6ome consider, tho Government's estimate of the average yield is at least two bushels- too high the exportable surplus of this season's crop must bo nearly exhausted. Tho shipments, however, include somo of last year's grain, of which there must have been a considerable carry over. Thero is very little business doing in wheat, the enquiry that was manifest last week having eased off. Oats are without change, and except for local consumption there is no movement in chaff. The potato market is dull in consequence of heavy supplies having gone forward to tho northern markets. Tho best price is now 50s at country stations, at which figure thero are some sellers.
