CAPTAINS OF DUTCH PEABLERS FINED.
United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. PERTH, July 18. Captain Smith, master of one of the Ihiteh pearlers, was convicted on all the charges brought against him, and was fined £5 for smuggling, £100 for entering a place not a port without reporting it, and without reasonable cause; £5 for using a vessel for smuggling; £2 10s for using the ship's stores before entering them in tho home consumption reports; £5 for interfering with goods subject to the control of the Customs Department. The captain of the other vessel was fined the minimum penalties, totalling £12 10s.
