POSSIBLE DEFEAT OF THE BILL.
(Received July 18th, 10.40 p.m.) LONDON, July 18. Owing to some- fifty of the Opposition Peers privately declaring their determination to vote against the third reading of the Parliament Bill, Viscount Morley is apprehensive lost the Bill should be defeated by a minority of Unionists, through abstentions on their Iside. Lord Lansdowno is anxious to pass the Bill as amended, and Viscount Morley is anxious to pass the Bill 6o as to enable tho House of Commons to reject the amendments.
