A BRAVE ENGLISHMAN.

PERTH, May 28
The Mandalay's castaways havo arrived. The vessel was driven off her coarse by gales, and the captain ran her ashore on a sandy beach.
Ward, tho only Englishman aboard, as, great risk carried a life line ashore, whereby the balance of tho crew were landed safely. They suffered considerable hardship on tho overland journey. Tho Mandalay has a hole in her bottom and the mainmast has gone. She lies embedded in the sand, with seas breaking over her. It is unlikely she will bo refloated.
