MR FISHER ON THE LABOUR PARTY.

United Press Association— By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright.

CAPETOWN, December 6.

. At the Labour Party's conversazione held for the purpose of saying farewell to Messrs Fisher and Fowlds, several Labour members were present. The Chairman said that they were very interested in the Australian Government, it being the first time in the history of representative Government that a man from their own ranks had shown that the worker was as capable of controlling legislation as others were.

Mr Fisher, replying, referred to the disorganisation of Labour in South Africa, and the conflicting views held by Labourites in different parts of the country. He emphasised the need of unity and a coherent policy.
