The Duke of Connaught and party arrived at MaritzbufU on Thursday. He received addresses, and was entertained «tt luncheon in the Town Hall. There were 200 guests. The Duke of Connaught laid thd foundation stono of the Natal University College, find atended a mayoral garden, narty in the afternoon. The party arrived here on Friday, and received a splendid welcome. Three thousand five hundred peopLe assembled in the Town Hall. The Duke paid a tribute to the municipal enterprise of Durban, and also to the loyalty everywhere manifested. Later on he reviowed the Durban Light. Infantry, of which he is Colonel-in-Chief. The party sailed to-day by the Balmoral Castle, homeward-bound. PORT ELIZABETH, Devcmber 8. . Mr Fisher and Mr Fowlds were at Orahamslown on Thursday, and arrived here on Friday. They were entertained by* the Mayor, and departed for Capetown.
