Seven thousand people are jut of work in Nantes, and hundreds if families homeless. Tho railways are submersed around Orleans The bursting; of a dam at Uontjean submersed ifche neighbouriood to a depth of 6ft. The Chamber of Deputies voted 66000 for the relief of the sufferers.
