DEAR MEAT.

THE AUSTRIAN AGITATION. PARLIAMENT FAVOURS IMPORTATION. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received Decemher 2nd, 9.40 p.m.) VIENNA, December 2. The Austrian Chamber, by 223 votes to 206, adopted a. motion in favour of the unrestricted entry of trans-oceanic meat. The debate revealed the fact that Austria. was bound by a secret agreement, which did not permit her to import meat without Hungary's consent. Austria is now of thfe opinion that Hungary has sanctioned the importation of ten thousand tons of Argentine meat. Hungary denies this, and says only two thousand tons were agreed upon. It is doubtful whether the Austrian Parliament's decision will result in meat being imported.
