SPRINGS. The Snririgs Road Board , met on Tuesday," all the member., being pre- I sent. A. Brown, presented a petition asking to be allowed to let the gates remain on Jarvis's road, on the lake, and was advised to make a legal application. Messrs Hoskin and Harris also waited on the Board and presented a petition signed. by thirty-three ratepayers and residents, asking the Board to put a temporary bridge over the L_ River while'the new bridge was being erected.
