(PRKS9 ASSOCIATION IELESRA.II.) DUNEDIN, November 30. Fat Cattle—One hundred and twer.ty-two head were yarded. Practically all the prime cattle forward came from Canterbury and Southland, most of the local entry being of medium weight and quality. There was a fair demand, and prices were fully as good as last week's rates. Prime bullocks brought £11 10s to £12 10s, extra £13 to £15 10s, medium to cood £9 5s to £11, light £8 os to £S 15s. Best cows and heifers £9 to £11 2s 6d, medium £7 to £8 ss, light £5 10s to £6 15s. Fat Sheep.—One thousand nine hundred and twenty were penned, more than half of which were shorn. With a few exceptions the quality was not particularly good, and the" proportion of old ewes was larger than of late. Sheep in ' wool were not in much request. There was fair competition, but prices generally showed a decline of about Is per head. Primo wethers in wool realised 23s to 255, extra to 27s 6d, medium 20s to 225; prime wethers, shorn, 18s to 20s 9d, medium 15s Cd to 17s: prime ewes in wool. 22s to 27s M, medium 18s to 20s; prime ewes, shorn, 16s Gd to 18s Cd, medium 14s 6d to 1.5s 6d. Fat Lambs.—Four hundred and three were penned, all prime except a few pens, and including several pens of extra heavy show sorts. The salo opened at about last week's rates, but in the absence of a demand for export, prices dropped back at the .finish. Prime sold at 15s to 16s, extra heavy to 18s 6d. medium to good 13s to 14s 6d, .light 10s to 12s. Pigs.—There was a large yarding of all classes, the total entry being 272. For young pigs the demand was considerably weaker, owing to the large number forward. Porkers and baconers also sold at reduced rates. Suckers brought 6s 6d to 9s, slips 11s to 15s, stores 18s to 235. porkers 28s to 345, light baconers 36s to 40.5, heavy 42s to 465.
