RIFLE SHOOTING SWINDLE,
United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received October 29th, 1.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, October 28. Tho Executive of tho National Riflo Association held an enquiry and disqualified W. J. Piggott, and awarded tho King's Prize to C. Morris, of Goulburn, A. Brooks, Parramatta Club, being awarded second stakes. Piggott admitted ho did not shoot at the thousand yards, that the card was bogus, and that tho signature of tho registrar was forged.
It is understood that further action is impending.
