SYDNEY, May 23
The fifth contest for the Mars-Buck-ley Cup has commenced. As a result of the day's play New South Wales has won five rubbers and Victoria two.
Heath beat Parker, 7-o, 6-3, but Parker, after a brilliant and exciting, match, beat Brookes, 6-4, 3-b', 7-5. In tlr> last game the scores stood 40-50. Parker picked up a cunningly shortplayed return from Brooks and lifted it on top of the net and. it fell into t_e Victorian's court, hopelessly out of reach.
