Mr Hughes professes ignorance as to whether the- Southern miners intend to return to work, and declares that Mr Vladcs Bill, having come into operation, it is now Mr Wade's business. Of the charges of inciting to strike made against fifteen members of tho Colliery Employees' Association, one has been withdrawn and the othei_ postponed till the end of December.
