CLQSE OF THE CONFERENCE
United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, December 22. The Wireless Telegraph Conference has concluded and adopted its report, which will be submitted to the various Governments concerned, and the Admiralty. Tho decisions in the meantime have not been made public, but it is understood that the conference recommends a system of wireless telegraphy to work in conjunction with tlie Pacific cable, the installations to be carried out by the Governments interested, on a proportional basis,- and that the staff will probably be subject to a Pacific Cable Board, created to undertake tlie operating of the system. Stations, it is suggested, will he established in the Fiji and Solomon Islands, Ocean Island, New Hebrides, Raratonga, Tonga, and at other points.
