A TRANSFORMATION SCENE.
The triangle situated in the very heart of the city has lately been receiving a little;of the attention from enterprising business men, and is rapidly undergoing a complete change. The latest corner to receive attention has been the frontage of the City Hotel on the High street side. A few days ago this was a good example of the old style of architecture; to-day it stands as a worthy example of an up-to-date business house, and will favourably compare with the best of London shops. Needless to say, Mr Southworth waa the contractor, and the wonderful change he effected in a few days waa marvellous. These fine new premises were opened to-day by Mr Owen, The London Tailor, and from a casual observation we should say there is not ai. finer tailor's shop in New Zealand, and will be more in harmony with his reputation as our leading tailor. Every one who likes good clothes for a little ready money should certainly pay Mr Owen a visit. 04705
