SPRINGSTON
In the Spring.sr.on Methodist Church, on Monday -evening, the church anniversary vas held, and took the form of a knife and fork tea. The ladies of the congregation were in charge of the tables. The Rev. J. T. Pinfold, the pastor, presided ot the after meeting, and gave <i resume of the year's work. Addresses were delivered by the Revs. Jasper Smyth, L. Hudson, and J. H. Haslam. Musical items were contributed by Mrs Steele, Miss A. Chamberlain, end 3lessrs West, H. Downs, the Rev. J. H. Haslam, end the Chamberlain family. Recitations were given by Miss Mutton, Thelma Starkie, and Mr H. Downs. On the preceding Sunday the Rev. L. Hudson preached two sermons to large congregations.
