CRICKET.
STRICTURES ON THE AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN.
United Press Association—By El*olric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, December 1. Commenting on the "Ceylon Times's" report of a cricket match played on October 13th, in which some of the Australian team took part, and in which the European residents of Colombo declined to play, "Truth" says that it was discreditable of tho Australians to charge heavy fees. The money-grubbing business of the whole story is despicable and degrading, and by playing a match against a purely native team, the' Australians degraded the white men in tho natives' eyes.
