— 4 A meeting of the committee of the Union Rowing Club was held on Monday evening, at the hoathouee. It was etated that the pleasure boat built by Mr E. D. Rees was finished, and that the work of constructing 25 new lockers was Hearing completion. Nineteen Dew members were elected, tie matter of establishing a building fund waa considered and held over till next, meeting. The fund is for the. future enlargement of the boatbxyise. - The rangements for the openyig day were reported to be complete, and the whole of the tickets for the dance to be held in the evening had already been disposed of.
