At Kirweo market on Friday there was a coed entry for the time" of the year, there being 2500 sheep and lambs yarded, of which 800 were in the fat pens, 700 bp-ini? lambs, the balance consisting of and merino ewes. Tho lambs, with tho exception of about three lines (which were of good freezing quality) were light and wanting finish. In the store pens, lambs accounted for practically the whole of the entry, over 1500 being yarded, a big proportion beinr; ewes. The balance of the yarding of stores was made up of one lino of wethers and two small lota of ewes in lamb. There was an averago attendance. Bidding was Rood, and nearly all lots changed hands at top rates. Freezing lambs- made 13s 6d to 14s 3d, lighter and unfinished 10s 8d to 12s 3d, fat crossbred f>wes 7s 6d to 103 3d, fat merino ewes 6s 9d; two-tooth crossbred wethers 12:- 2d; four-tooth crossbred ewes in lamb 17s 6d, twotooth ditto 16s Id; ewe lambs 11s lid to 13s 4d, store lambs (mixed sexes) P& to 10s lOd, shorn ditto 8s Bd, wether lambs Bs.
