MOTOR CARS IN WARFARE.
AN INTERESTING EXPERIMENT. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, March 18. In order to test the practicability of employing motor-cars in warfare, tho Automobilo Association conveyed a completo battalion of Guards, together with its baggage, from London to Hastings in 31 hours. No less than 286 cars and 28 lorries were employed, and the column was seven miles long. Only a few minor mishaps occurred.
