ROAD BOARDS.
AKAROA AND WAINUI. • Tho last monthly meeting of the Akaroa and Wainui Road Board was attended by Messrs G. Checkley (chairman), Armstrong, Mulcock, Pettigrew, and Chapman. Correspondence from tho Roads Department stated that Government would forward £196 lis 2d for Stony Bay road when particulars were forwarded, was approved, .'.nd tho clerk was instructed to make further application for Moriee settlement roads. Mr R. H. Rhodes, M.P., wrote notifying that the appointment of Messrs E. E. Lelievre. C. Fredericksen, G. Mulcock, and T. Robinson, as Justices of the Peace, wero approved. A grant of £o was made to the Peninsula Technical Association. In answer to a request frorrj Mr S. C. Lelievre for repairs to Flat Point road, it was resolved to call for tenders.
