iiio Canterbury Amateur Athletio team leaves to-day, by the second express for Dunedin, to take part in tho New Zealand Championships on Saturday next. The team is a strong one, and anticipates being ablo to give a good account of itself. Amongst its number there are several holding champion honours, namely. H. St A Murray, P. H. Stubberfield, C. L. Orbeil, W. Do Their. Besides these. Dr Guv Haskins (the United States champion) is tjoing down to do battle for Canterbury.
