KAIAPOI.
Constable Holmes applied to Messrs J. H. Bltwkwell and C. Hansen, Justices at Knifipoi. yesterday, for a renewal of a Prohibition order expiring on the ISth inst.j against A. C. Wilmot. Tho constable stated that four previous orders had boon issued against defendant, and they were necessary for the peace of his family. Defendant resisted the application, aU-pßint; that Constable Holmes had a down on him. An order was iwsiied, to apply to the Cli.ris.tchnrch, Ivaianoi, Riccarton, and Hurunui licensing districts.
