MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Messrs W. J. Neate, J. H. Stringer, and W. T Robinson, J.P.s, presided at the Magistrate's Court yesterday. Three first offenders for drunkenness were each fined 5s and costs; in default 24 hours' imprisonment. A3exander Carey, a third offender on. a. similar ohargo was fined 40s and costs; in dofault seven days' imprisonment. William Hexwy Hawkins was fined 10s, and Ernest AJexand.re and John Sootb Myers 5s each for allowing cows to wander at large. Ernest Dockery was fined 10s and costs for riding a. bicycle on the footpath. LYTTELTON. Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M., presided at the Lyttelt-on Magistrate's Court yesterday. Two first offenders, charged with drunkenness, were each fined five shillings and costs, in default, 2-1 hours' imprisonment. On a charge of procuring liquor during the currency of a prohibition order against him, J. Dale Wateon was fined ton shillings and costs.
