MOUNT HUTT.
At the last .monthly meeting of tho Mount Hutt Road Board, a letter was read from Mr C. A. C. Hardy, M.P., in answer to the Board's communication to him re a grant to a resident medical man being paid by means of a small rate to bo struck over the entire district under the control of the Board Mr Hardy stated he would support legislation being passed to that effect. A special rote of thanks was passed to Mrs Cameron, Springfield, for her , handsomo donation of a cheque for £60 towards the fund for tho upkeep of the Methven public cemetery.
