LIQUOR MISREPRESENTATIONS.
4 Liquor, no doubt, would tell the truth if there was any suitable truth to tell. Since cruth does not support them, they havo misrepresentedthe Bishops of New South Wales like they did General Booth, and have sought to deceive and mislead tho public. Tlio fact is, three bishops refused to support a resolution in the Provincial Synod of New South Wales favouring No-license, not because they were opposed to No-license, but because they opposed its introduction into a Church Synod. However, sixty-five of tho Anglican*, clergy of the diocese of Sydney signed a No-license appeal, recommending the Amdicans to vote No-licenso. No Anglican bishon in New South Wales has ever counselled anyone to vote continuance. This is inserted to give tho lie direct to tho Liquor advertisement stating to the contrary. ROBERT B. S.
