I . IjOXDON, September 24. The totaJ application for tho South Australian loan in cash and by conversion amounted to nearly £610,000. It is uirierst-od, however, that the cash 'applications wero very small. Scrip is quoted at about one-half discount. Tho following cablegram has been received by Daigety and Co., Ltd., from their London onico, dated September _4th:—•The frozen meat nrarkot is very dull; any change in prices is in favour of buyers."
