A meeting of tho Amber ley Steeplechase Club was held on Friday evening, Mr F. Courage pr-..ding. lho balance-sheet, ivhicu was read anu adopted, showed a credit on the recent mooting of £50. All accounts wore passfcd_for payment. Mr 11. F. .sicoll leaves on Thursday for Sydney, and will be present to see his two candidates, iSea King and Cross Battery, compete at tho A.J.C. Spring Meeting. F. Holmes also leaves on Thursday to superintend Pilot's preparation tor his engagements in tho First Steeplechase and the Waverley Steeplechase at the same meeting.
