The examining magistrate states that Alberti, the ex-Minister of Denmark, lost six million kroner in six years on the London Stock Exchange. (press association- tfxkgram.) WELLINGTON, September 21. Mr S. Turner, a. tiirector of Wilier and JRiley, whose affairs havo been referred to in the recent cables, writes to the Press Association, denying tho truth of the statements made. He says:— "They have been concocted by someone for the purpose of dumaging our reputation. We havo not lost any money through tho alleged Danish frauds. Tho butter and cheese sent to my firm from this Dominion last year, was all at sight drafts, tho same as it is this year, the Dank holding the butter and cheese on the factors' behalf until paid for. Therefore wo do not take credit. We havo no credit in this country."
