MAJOR-GENERAL LUARD'S LAST LETTER.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, September 20. Colonel Warde, at ife- inquest, bitterly declared that Major-General Luard's letter, as previously cabled, was a fabrication of tho Press. The actual letter did not mention the son. It ended:—"l thought I had strength enough to bear up against the horrible imputation of these terrible letters, but am now satisfied that it is best to join her in the second lifo at once."
